Why Fashion is a "mirror of our times."

Fashion today is all around us and reflects an image we project of ourselves and of our troubled times. However much or little we believe fashion affects us, we make revealing statements through fashion about our personality and self-image every day. This cultural and psychological phenomenon generates a vast fashion marketing economy that transcends international frontiers and which links diverse peoples and cultures through the exchange of styles, looks, ideas and signals.

My Future College

              My Future College

All my life I've been dreaming to go to TCU. Texas Christian University has the best classes, a great atmosphere, a nice scenery, and great atmosphere, and great student. I should be a student in TCU because I work really hard to get what I want. In order to succeed in school I plant my foot into the ground day and night.

The teachers at my school never have a problem with me. Most of the time I am quiet, unless I have a question. The most important thing to me is making good grades and turning in my work. Plus, I always try my best to be on the top of class, despite how many smart kids there are.

Going to a beautiful university will be delightful. To me TCU is an inspiration for me to go to college. You all have everything I want to major in. From fashion design to other visual arts, it can't get any better than this! I've researched many colleges that are local and so far Texas Christian University was the only one that had fashion design. TCU I will be more than honored to be accepted into your school.

Most Challenging Experience in My Life

The most challenging experience in my life was losing my mom. For years my mother  has spoiled me. She would always cook and do my hair for me. Mom would also buy me clothes and make sure I got what I wanted. Momma was known for keeping the family together in peace.

One day I woke and her noises in the bathroom. When I went into the bathroom I saw my mom lying on the floor dead. All I could do was panic, plus yell my brother's name to call the ambulance. Sense then my dad had my aunt to take care me. Although, all my aunts help me out I still have to be independent and do things on my own. So now I'm more mature then when I had a wonderful respectful mother.
