DIY: How to make a circle skirt

Hello ladies, have you ever wondered or wanted to be creative and make a skirt that’s cute and trendy? Well, look no further because today I am going to teach you how to make a circle skirt. Below are the materials you will need:

• Fabric  Scissors
• Fabric  of your choice
• Ruler
• Pencil
• Zipper
• Sewing machine
• thread

Directions:

1. Cut out a square that’s 1-2 yards depending on how long and wide you want it, then you fold it in half two times making sure it’s right side to right side.
2. Measure around your waist and then divide it by 2*Pi(3.14).
3. Take a ruler by the corner and measure and draw in your calculation all the way around the corner (its best use chalk).
4. Then  cut that out
5. Next you will measure from the middle of the half cut out circle and this will be the long you want the skirt. Then cut it out
6. Next cut from the top of the skirt to bottom, this will allow you to have an opening to put your zipper in.
7. Sew your zipper in on half an inch, then sew the rest of the seam closed on half an inch.
8. Then finally all you have to do is hem the top and bottom of the skirt so you will have a clean finish.
